Uyo Council Boss Installed As Boys Brigade Grand Patron, Uyo Battalion Council

In recognition of his service to humanity and commitment to his creator, the Executive Chairman of Uyo Local Government, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo has been installed as the Grand Patron of Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, Uyo Battalion Council.

The installation happened today, Sunday, February 21, 2021 during the investiture service that took place at Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Uyo Cathedral, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo.

Dr. Udo has been a member of the Boys’ Brigade for 28 years and the impact and potentials of the Boys’ Brigade have helped him in his leadership assignments.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Udo thanked God Almighty for His abundant love, protection, preservation and favour regardless of his human disposition even as he promised not to relent in his services to humanity.

He also charged the young and old boys to continue to be shinning examples and display values that others will emulate as he will continue to support the activities of Boys’ Brigade, Uyo Battalion Council.

His acceptance is the assurance of more empathy filled commitment to humanitarian services with the Lord as his source and rewarder of those who diligently serve Him.
