UTME Candidate Murdered After Returning From Tutorials In Ondo

A 20- year-old lady,  Ebunlomo Osatuyi, has been reportedly murdered at her father’s house in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The perpetrators of the act were said to have broken through the window to gain entrance into the house.

Channels Television gathered that the victim was killed on Friday shortly after returning from a coaching centre where she was taking tutorials ahead of the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Speaking on the incident, the deceased’s mother, Bosede Osatuyi, said when she came back from work that day, she met her daughter in the pool of her own blood.

Bosede also disclosed that she also saw an axe and a pestle in the sitting room where the victim was killed.

According to her, Ebunlomo was quickly rushed to the hospital immediately where she was confirmed dead.

The Public Relations Officer of Ondo State Police Command, DSP Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident on Saturday, adding that investigation had commenced into the incident.
