EMILY’s List provides training, recruits women to run, and endorses and funds female political candidates. It is listed as an “important source of candidate support,” in a 2010 article in the Harvard International Review.

EMILY’s List has been credited with helping to elect hundreds of Democratic women to office, including 18 U.S. senators, 135 U.S. representatives, and 17 governors. It is one of the most successful PACs in American politics.
