The program is open to people from all 54 countries in Africa including Nigeria as long as they have a business idea or a business that is less than 5 years old.

The program starts from January 1, 2023. This is the 9th edition of this program. The foundation aims to mentor, train and fund 10,000 African entrepreneurs by 2024 through this program. They have earmarked $100 million to help achieve this goal.

As part of the ninth edition of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme, successful applicants will have the opportunity to join the TEF network of startups and gain access to valuable resources and support from other entrepreneurs. How to Apply
The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme is now open for Nigerian entrepreneurs to apply. The programme is designed to support the next generation of African entrepreneurs and help them turn their business ideas into reality. Nigerian entrepreneurs who are at least 18 years of age, with a scalable business idea or a business that has been in operation for no more than 5 years, are eligible to apply for the programme. Here is the complete application process for Nigerian entrepreneurs:

Visit the Tony Elumelu Foundation website (https://www.tonyelumelufoundation.org/) and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.

Create an account by providing your personal details, such as your name, email address, and password.

Fill out the application form, providing information about your business idea or current business, including the industry, target market, and financial projections.
Submit a one-page business plan outlining your business idea, target market, competitive advantage, financial projections and management team.
Provide proof of identification and business registration.
Submit your application by the deadline (usually April of each year)
Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation.
The Tony Elumelu Foundation will review your application and notify you of the outcome within a few months of the application deadline.
If your application is successful, you will be invited to participate in a 12-week business training program with top-tier instruction and will receive a non-refundable seed funding of $5,000.
Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to join the TEF network of startups and gain access to valuable resources and support from other entrepreneurs.
