But it is also a cut throat business world.

A world of Dog eat Dog.

A world where you shine and make people shine.

But as you shine and make others shine, some also want to shine your shine and if they can’t shine your shine, they will try to dull your shine.

That is the darker side of life, but that’s just the way it is.

Primarily, many go into entertainment to make people happy.

The happier people become, the more popular you become.

And then money and other positive things might follow.

But it is not always necessarily so.

Ambivalently, the positivity of your creativity, could attract hate, envy, ego, greed, avarice and jealousy.

Such negative energy could be from peers, friends, family, fans, followers and even those you have never met in your life, but have happenstance upon your creativity.

Or those who perceive you as a threat to their own career, or the oxygen that they breathe of.

Sometimes, if you are discerning enough, you will be able to capture the worldly and spiritual struggles of an artiste, writer, or creative person, in his lyrics, artistic reflections, or literal works.

The pain, the hurt, the fears, the doubts, joys, happiness, and at times, the victories, are all there, encoded in the creativity that the audience are ironically, enjoying.

I never met MohBad and barely knew his songs (I’m more of Asake vibes), but I now realise that, OhBad gaaan.

Sometimes, creative people produce their best works, when they are troubled and are trying to tell us something, that only them understand.
