The only Bridge that is noticeable is The Ikpoba River Bridge and That is in need of Repair . The Action Governor Obaseki who many have Touted as one of the Most Far Seeing seems to have joined the bandwagon in Ignoring The plight of Motorists in the State as Traffic Jams are now even with tthe High Costs of Fuel A Normal Occurence just like LAgos State  So Coining the Term Now Edo is Now Lagos ! 

“Edo is not Lagos” was popularized during the 2020 Edo State gubernatorial election, when Governor Godwin Obaseki used it to campaign against his opponent, Osagie Ize-Iyamu. The phrase was used to suggest that Edo State is different from Lagos State, and that the people of Edo State would not tolerate the same kind of political interference and godfatherism that is common in Lagos State.

The phrase was also used to remind Edo State voters that they have a long history of political independence and self-determination, and that they would not allow anyone to dictate to them who they should vote for.

In the end, Obaseki won the election, and the phrase “Edo is not Lagos” is now used to refer to the fact that Edo State is a sovereign state with its own unique political culture and traditions.

The phrase is also used to express the Edo people’s determination to resist any form of external interference in their political affairs.
