OPay’s Play4aChild Is a Success !

OPay’s Play4aChild was launched on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, with a donation through one of its partner NGOs “Girls Inspired Development Network (GIDN)”. And Thank you to all those who participated in the donation.

The partnership with GIDN will ensure that 1,300 vulnerable children from three (3) low-income schools in underserved communities receive back-to-school packs and learning aids.

The donation through Play4aChild was piloted with beneficiaries from Jibowu Junior High School, Jibowu-Yaba, Lagos State while subsequent beneficiary schools are Birrel Avenue High School and Herbert Macaulay Girls High School, Sabo-Yaba.

With this initiative, OPay seeks to complement the Government’s effort to reduce the 2022 UNESCO report of over 20 million out-of-school and vulnerable children in Nigeria through emerging digital technologies.
