Uyo Political Class Commends Dr. Uwemedimo’s Developmental Strides [PHOTOS]

The Executive Chairman of Uyo Local Government, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo has received commendation from the political class of Uyo extraction over developmental strides in the local government area.

The political class, led by the Champion of Uyo Politics, Otuekong (Prince) Enobong Uwah gave the commendation Monday, February 22, 2021 when they payed an unscheduled visit to the Council.

The Executive Chairman, accompanied by the councillors led by the Leader, Hon. Ubong Effiong warmly received the political class of Uyo to the council and took them on a tour of the project undertaken by the Service Alone administration.

The delegation applauded the Executive Chairman for the construction of such a massive structure—the new Administrative Block— within the space of three months in office.

Dr. Udo informed them that the project when completed would ease the accommodation challenge of the local government staff and ameliorate their present discomfort to enhance service delivery.

On the delegation were the member representing Uyo State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Anietie Eka, former Chairman of Council Dr. Chris Udofia, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Branding and Marketing, Mr. Ime Uwah, Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Media, Prince Emmanuel Sam, Special Assistant to the Governor on Research and Documentation, Elder Ndanti Ekuh, Special Assistants to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Mr. Aniefiok Akpaeno and Mr. Itoro Etim among others.
